Launched in 2020, Innovo collaborates with property managers, landlords, architects, and project managers to deliver technical and sustainable MEP solutions. Despite their expertise and strong internal team, they lacked a cohesive brand identity and did not have an online presence
Innovo's existing logo was created internally and was not legible at smaller sizes, lacking in professional appearance. Additionally, they did not have a website to showcase their services and projects. They needed a comprehensive update to their logo and brand to establish a strong market presence and effectively communicate their values.

We initiated the project by conducting a survey among all employees to gather insights on their perceptions of the company. This was complemented by research on their competitors and clients to define the direction for the new branding. Based on the data collected, we created a mood board to present the proposed branding direction to the client. After receiving feedback, particularly on colour preferences, we refined the logo to improve legibility and convey a cohesive brand story inline with employee insights.
Themes of precision and connection were identified during our research, and were integrated into the branding concepts for various assets such as social media, presentations, and reports. We provided two colour palette options, and once the final selection was made, we developed detailed brand guidelines and a range of templates and assets for future use.
To establish their online presence, we conducted a workshop to create a wireframe for their new website, which was subsequently designed and built to align with the updated brand identity.
The original logo featured a classic serif font with a full stop at the end, all in one colour. One of the main themes that emerged from the employee survey was precision. To highlight this theme, we changed the colour of the full stop to make it a focal point that represents accuracy and attention to detail. We also updated the original font to be softer, reflecting the company's collaborative and approachable nature.
